Cayman Islands Marathon

Despite a 5 a.m. start, it was quite warm in Grand Cayman for my first international marathon. Jenelle got lots of great video, including a conversation with the race announcer at the finish.

Finally, a clean garage!

After a week or so of organizing and purchasing various hooks and bins, our garage is now neat and clean. We should even have room to store our deck furniture this winter.

Thanks to a strong front nine, Andrew decisively won the JMBA Mini-Golf Championship, finishing with a four-stroke lead.

Freedom 5K

Ben and three friends run a 5K in St. Germain, WI. Jenelle and three more friends cheered us on.

Wisconsin Marathon

Marketed as the "World's Cheesiest Marathon", I ran this one in my home town of Kenosha on May 2, 2009, wearing a hat to go along with the theme of the race. :)

Crazy Gifts on New Year's Day

Included are two sets of hilarious gift-giving incidents. The first is Randy's present for Jenelle and Holly, and the second is Andrew's present for Liz. As you can tell, lots of us were laughing hysterically.

Chicago Lakefront 50K - Fall

My second 50K of the year was in the same place as the first (Chicago), though this one was on the south side rather than the north.

Waterfalls in Oregon

We saw five different waterfalls along the Columbia Gorge in Oregon. There was a lot of hiking, but we all had a great time!

My mom was nice enough to get some video of me at the Lake Geneva 5K. I ran fast enough to get an age group award!

Country Music Marathon - Nashville

Mom and I traveled to Nashville, Tennessee, where I set a new personal best in the marathon. Mom successfully finished the half marathon!
