Chicago Lakefront 50K - Fall

My second 50K of the year was in the same place as the first (Chicago), though this one was on the south side rather than the north.

Waterfalls in Oregon

We saw five different waterfalls along the Columbia Gorge in Oregon. There was a lot of hiking, but we all had a great time!

My mom was nice enough to get some video of me at the Lake Geneva 5K. I ran fast enough to get an age group award!

Country Music Marathon - Nashville

Mom and I traveled to Nashville, Tennessee, where I set a new personal best in the marathon. Mom successfully finished the half marathon!

Chicago Lakefront 50K

I participated in my first ultramarathon -- a 50K (31 mile) race. My friend Mark joined me on the course!

Austin Marathon

I traveled to Austin to run my 15th marathon. I joined my cousin, Todd, and five NASA engineers, each of whom ran the half. It was an awesome weekend!

We got home from work to find nearly a foot of snow in our driveway. We're running out of places to put it!

After a nice and easy first half, I picked up the pace and made my 14th marathon (in Tybee Island, Georgia) my new personal best!

Ben ran his 13th marathon on January 13, 2008 in Arizona. His cousin, Laura, ran her first half marathon at the same time. Despite the unlucky number, things went very well!
